I have worked within software teams since 2005. I shifted from testing to coding and development, including building web apps and APIs. I hold a Professional Certificate in Computer Science and Mobile Applications from HarvardX. I work primarily with Go, using serverless architecture to integrate systems and provide data analytics for retail clients.
I consider myself to be a professional learner and constantly push myself outside of my comfort zone. I enjoy working collaboratively and helping others learn. I have experience mentoring Junior Software Developers.
I am an open, responsive and passionate team player. A considerate and compassionate coder viewing software development as a craft where interactions with people matter and communication skills are required for success. In my spare time I enjoy training Brazillian jiu-jitsu, weight lifting and computer games (both playing and creating).
